Ben Westbeech
In August 2010 ART+TEK was invited by James Mountain of Stealth Management to design visuals for the release of DJ, Singer and Producer Ben Westbeech, for the release of his new album.
The brief was to create a visual theme for Ben's album campaign which could be used on stage as part of his live shows; we took this brief and developed Ben's idea into a motion graphic DVD featuring an interplay of minimalist colour and shapes which were choreographed to the groove of Ben's music. The result of the motion graphic DVD was dynamic, bold and a stylised accompaniment.
Our visuals for Ben were first screened at the Strictly Rhythm Party at Amsterdam’s Dance Event 2010 where the gig was described as "Especially well received by the packed swaying crowd, his set was undoubtedly the highlight of the night" (Defect, 2010)
