The Experience - Excite! Show
Exposure Event Creations invited ART+TEK to partner them to design and build a feature area for their 2009 Excite! show in London . The brief was to create a key networking area that offered visitors a platform to engage with the show. The space was designed to fuse traditional networking with new media technologies - we called it “The Experience”.
Visitors were able to connect with the show by interacting with computer terminals controlled by laser projection keyboards. They could leave their comments and find out what was going on, and when, via a purpose built microsite. Installed around the space were large plasma screens broadcasting "Excite TV", showing some of the latest marketing advice, live feeds from the seminars and pre-recorded content.
The stand’s animated centrepiece, the Tower of Babel, created a modern twist to the communication theme. Programs were written to make the tower interactive, displaying visitor comments and twitter feeds from the terminals, new visual content was generated for the tower’s internal screens, and animated using real time software.
