Merry Christmas!

This is a fun snowflake generator that allows you to make thousands of different types of snowflakes. It is ART+TEKs Christmas card to you for 2009.

You can generate random snowflakes by pressing spacebar, then move the mouse around the game to customise it. You can pause the rendering with P - freezing your flake and allowing you to move the mouse elsewhere.

Once you are happy with your snowflake, press enter/return on the keyboard to save an image with your snowflake on it. Images won't be online forever so remember to save it!
Pop-ups must be enabled to see the result!

Select the Applet

The Snowflake generator only draws the snowflakes and reacts to the controls if it is focussed. To focus it, just click anywhere on the applet.

Advanced controls

Press T to toggle the advanced controls, allowing you control over all the variables the snowflake can have.
